Something Old Something New

Everytime I make one of our Something Old, Something New necklaces its always a struggle for me to actually ship it out.  I can always make myself our other necklaces, but the vintage charms we use in the Something Old Something New are all one of a kind finds that we hunted for and fell in love with.  That said, when you get this kind of message from the recepient it makes everything alright:

Happy Friday!  My daughter declared this a great "dance party song" when she heard it yesterday and even though she's only five, you have to admit, the girl knows how to get a party started.  So here's a little Friendly Fires to start your dance party off right.

When you need a break from all that dancing here's a few things that I enjoyed on the internets this week:

• When Dowager Countess Texts - Are you watching Downton Abbey??? Its sooooo good!  And the Dowager Countess might be my favorite character ever in the history of tv.  Maybe.  Anyways, this tumblr of her "texts" made my nerdy heart happy.
• Parenting.  Illustrated with Crappy Pictures - This new to me blog had me cracking up and saying cliche things like "THATS SO TRUE.  ITS FUNNY, BECAUSE ITS TRUE"  last night till my husband finally told me to can it.  But then he admitted it was SO TRUE.  Especially this post!
• DIY Recycled Paper Bag on DesignSponge - It seems like everytime I turn around I need a new basket for something and I'm loving this idea of using brown paper weaved together to make a basket.  Easy, cheap way to get a basket in just the size you need.

Pinky Swear Outfit - Pink Jeans

My sister mentioned the other day that she wants pink jeans and I've been kind of obsessed with the idea since then.  Personally, I really have to force myself to wear some color, or I end up in grey, cream and black all too often.  I bought myself a hot pink and red color-block tank and I'm feeling that color combo a lot (not to mention its everywhere these days with V-day coming up).  I'd wear this outfit with my Pinky Swear Banner Necklace:
